What are your rates?
Graciela’s time to shoot is $250 per hour. This goes across the board to include private events and portraits.
What does the session fee include?
This covers Graciela’s time to shoot, talent and expertise as well as general edits. This also includes the viewing session where Graciela or Angel ( studio manager) will present your final proofs for purchase.
Does your session fee include digitals?
It does not. All product and digitals are purchased separately. This is done during your viewing session. There are no minimum amount needed to purchase any product. Contact Graciela for a studio tour and a consultation.
Why don’t you have digitals included?
Graciela believes in giving you tangible memories that you can easily access and hold. In this digital era, it has become common practice to not print out your images and keep them in a harddrive or Social media. Computers can crash and harddrives can be lost or damaged also compromising your files. Graciela R. Rivas Photography studio’s product is heirloom quality. This means that these images will one day outlive you and be passed down for generations to come. Our studio is a full service studio where we take, edit, and print it all for you based on your needs.
What kind of products do you offer?
We have gift prints ( 8×10’s and smaller), wall art up to 40×60 ( for larger sizes contact us ) that can be metal, canvas or mounted for durability , albums and story boxes with matted or mounted images. There is a software program that is utilized to show your own personal photo of a wall in your home with our Images on there to see what it would look like displayed in your home.
When is payment due?
For portrait sessions it is paid up front in full upon booking and is not refundable. For Private events a 50% non-refundable retainer is due upon booking. The rest is due two weeks before your event date. Product purchase is due in full before order can be placed for production. Payment plans for this are available.
What forms of payment are accepted?
All major credit and debit cards, check, google, apple pay, and cash is accepted.
What if I am late or I have to cancel or reschedule? Do I get my money back?
Session fees are non-refundable but we can always schedule it for another date if it is available. Product sales are final and non refundable. They can be used toward another session as credit. If client is late by 15 minutes we will wait. If it is after that than we need to cancel and you will forfeit the session. You would need to book another session. Rescheduling needs to be within 24-48 hours if possible.
How long does it take to view my gallery?
For normal sessions it can take within two weeks. For weddings it can take up to 4 weeks. This depends on how busy our wedding and larger big events season is. Viewing sessions are done in person in our studio or else they are done through zoom.
How long does it take to receive my product?
For normal sessions it will take 3-5 business days to finalize image if they need further retouching ( headswaps, extensive photoshop). If product has been paid in full than the order will be placed within a week from ordering session or final payment. Product sales must be paid in full in order to receive it.
If an album or a story box is purchased it can take up to 8 weeks. If images need further retouching it can take up to two weeks to finalize them . Our story boxes and albums are custom made in the UK and it takes time to produce the high-end quality of these items as well as shipping time to receive them.
Do you ship the Product to us?
Our studio is in Glencoe, Minnesota and we would prefer you to come to our studio to pick up. Under certain circumstances, we could drop it off if it is within an hour drive from our studio. We can also ship it to you. The fee for that would be based on weight and size. You would be billed for the shipping fees before it can be sent.
